This week I had a quick, impromptu shoot with my friend Maggie at the Kinetix Academy.
Maggie came over to train on her aerial hoop, I wanted to experiment with some lighting techniques.
We spent a little under an hour in our own little worlds: Maggie was training and working out her routine, I was fiddling with camera and lighting settings.

Maggie is currently undergoing some pretty intense chemotherapy for cancer, you can see her feeding tube in the images (yes, that's a wig). She trains hard, gets on with life as best as she can and very rarely complains. She's an absolute warrior.
