In 2018 the English national Opera, in partnership with Grade Linnit, presented a revival of the musical "Chess" at the London Coliseum. This production, directed by Laurence Connor, featured a cast including Michael Ball, Alexandra Burke, Cassidy Janson, and Tim Howar.
Working with Michael Ball alongside Tim Rice was a very special experience, as these were massive influences on my theatre journey while growing up.
As Fight Director on this semi-staged version of Chess, I had a lot of physical sequences to set, including the press conference, and many of the ensemble numbers which involved tricks lifts.
