In November 2019, the English National Opera produced Philip Glass's Orphée as part of their "Orpheus Series." The production, directed by Netia Jones, was the final instalment in the ENO's exploration of the Orpheus myth, focusing on the dangers of self-obsession.
The performance was a true multimedia experience.
My role on the show was to work on the pre-filmed portions of the show, working with physical performers being filmed in slow motion, and photographed jumping from platforms of a variety of heights.
I worked with the performers to train them in spatial awareness, safe jumping and landing techniques, and how to show character through movement.
